Conference Operations Specialist

Spendbase is a global fintech company helping businesses manage and optimize their spending on SaaS, cloud services, and corporate cards.

We're looking for a Conference Operations Specialist to take ownership of our conference direction and make sure we're attending the right events, getting the best possible terms, and making the most out of each conference.

You'll research and evaluate conferences, communicate and negotiate with organizers, coordinate everything around our participation, and analyze the results afterwards. We're looking for someone proactive and resourceful who can take ownership of the whole process and bring their own ideas to improve how we approach conferences.

• Experience in conference management, event management, partnerships, operations, or a similar field
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proactive and resourceful mindset - you're not afraid to ask, negotiate, and find better solutions
• Analytical skills and ability to understand what works and what doesn't
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
• Good English and confidence communicating with international partners

• Research and evaluate conferences based on our products, ICP, budget, and business goals
• Communicate and negotiate with conference organizers to get better prices, tickets, discounts, and other opportunities
• Coordinate our participation in online and offline conferences
• Handle booths, merch, tickets, designs, and other event-related logistics
• Work with product teams to decide which conferences and products we should focus on
• Track and analyze conference results and suggest what we can improve
• Manage deadlines, tasks, and communication with all relevant parties
• Build and improve our approach to conference participation

• Experience specifically with conferences or events is a strong plus
