About the role
As a Mobile Engineer at Chowdeck, you’ll join a team dedicated to delivering happiness to our customers and empowering hundreds of restaurant owners in Nigeria with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to bring their ideas to life.

Requirements
You'll thrive as a Mobile Engineer if you
Deep understanding of React Native and its ecosystem (4+ YOE).
Strong foundation in JavaScript and its core nuances.
Proficient with native build tools such as Xcode, Android Studio, and Gradle.
Experienced in setting up and maintaining mobile CI/CD pipelines using tools like Fastlane.
Knowledgeable about App Store and Google Play guidelines for publishing high-quality mobile apps.
Skilled in using automated testing frameworks for mobile applications.
Passionate about solving complex problems, even when clear solutions aren’t immediately available.
Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and user experience.

Able to translate incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid, manageable
tasks and action plans.Experienced in crafting delightful user interactions through animations and micro-interactions.
Responsibilities
We'll trust you to:
Build and maintain features across one or more of our mobile apps for customers, vendors, riders, and internal users.
Create pixel-perfect, buttery-smooth UIs on both iOS and Android.
Leverage native APIs for deep integrations when necessary, such as location tracking.
Diagnose and resolve bugs and performance issues to ensure apps feel truly native.
Maintain clean, high-quality code and write automated tests to uphold product excellence.
