Operations Engineer

As an Operations Engineer, you'll play a key role in improving the tools our teams rely on every day. Working closely with Operations, Product, and Engineering departments, you'll help shape and optimize internal systems such as our back office, chatbots, and other operational platforms. You'll turn business needs into clear technical requirements, drive tool enhancements, and ensure our internal products evolve alongside the business. Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in Backend Software Engineering or a similar technical role.

• Proven experience building and maintaining production-ready applications, bots, tools, or services that are actively used by others.

• Strong knowledge of  TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS or a solid Java background with the willingness to work primarily in TypeScript (Java candidates are especially welcome).

• Hands-on experience with AI-driven development workflows.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with APIs and Git.

• Self-driven and comfortable working with a high level of ownership and autonomy after onboarding, without requiring detailed day-to-day task specifications.

• Passion for designing and delivering end-to-end solutions, from understanding the business problem to implementing and maintaining the final product.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Design, build, and own internal products end-to-end - bots, back-office tools, and automation services - from idea to production.
- Integrate third-party providers and APIs (payments, banking, messaging) working directly from technical documentation.
- Build and maintain Telegram bots, parsers, and data pipelines that operations teams rely on daily.
- Turn operational pain points into working software: gather needs directly from users, shape the solution, ship it, iterate.
- Analyse operational and financial data (SQL) to find and validate improvement opportunities.
- Troubleshoot and fix issues in our own services.
- Bridge Operations, Product, and Engineering when features cross team boundaries.
- Use AI tools to accelerate building while staying in control of the result.

• Experience with the Telegram Bot API.

• Experience with web scraping and data parsing.

• Experience integrating with third-party APIs using technical documentation.

• Experience in the fintech domain.
