Role
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team at Softlab360. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will design, build, and maintain high-performance, large-scale back-end systems for FinTech and AI-powered projects, working closely with a senior engineering team on both implementation and architecture.
Responsibilities:
Design and build robust, scalable back-end systems using Java and Spring Boot
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Apply creative problem-solving to complex technical challenges
Actively participate in discussions and decision-making on system architecture
Write production-ready code and unit tests
Contribute to code reviews and design reviews
Work across multiple client projects, primarily in FinTech and AI domains
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
6+ years of experience in back-end software development
Strong Object-Oriented Programming skills in Java
Strong experience with Spring / Spring Boot
Experience building large-scale systems with high concurrency and multi-threading
Good understanding of SQL and relational databases
Working knowledge of Python
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex, or similar)
Experience working in Agile methodology
Good written and spoken English (B2–C1 level)
Nice to Have:
Experience with frontend development
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
Experience with AWS
