Senior Python Developer (AI/ML)

We’re a fast-moving AI startup on a mission to transform how architectural plans are analyzed and delivered. Our platform leverages cutting-edge AI to interpret design documents and generate powerful insights for our customers.

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our engineering team, with a target start date of November 1. You will work on backend systems supporting these AI-powered solutions. This role is a great fit for an engineer with strong backend expertise and hands-on experience with modern AI technologies, large language models, and production-grade AI applications.

• 5+ years of experience in commercial Python development

• 2+ years of experience with Flask

• Hands-on experience working with LLMs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, or similar)

• Experience with prompt engineering

• Experience with AI/ML

• Strong knowledge of SQL databases

• Hands-on experience with Redis

• Experience with AWS services

• Experience with microservices architecture

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to work on core backend tasks, beyond AI-focused development

• At least Upper-Intermediate English level

• Experience with Elasticsearch will be a plus

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python

• Design and implement AI-powered features using LLMs (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI)

• Work with prompt engineering and optimize LLM outputs for production use cases

• Integrate AI models into scalable microservices architecture

• Build and deploy solutions on AWS

• Work with SQL databases, Redis, and Elasticsearch for data storage and processing

• Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of the system

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code

• Experience with Elasticsearch
