Web - Java Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Web/Java Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining reliable web applications and Java-based solutions. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with technical and business teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 2+ years of professional software/web development experience.

• Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.

• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development.

• Familiarity with Spring/Spring Boot or similar Java frameworks.

• Experience working with REST APIs and web services.

• Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.

• Familiarity with Git or other version-control systems.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications using Java and modern web technologies.

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.

• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and database integrations.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Integrate applications with internal and third-party systems.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.

• Collaborate with designers, developers, project managers, and other stakeholders.

• Perform application testing and support quality-assurance activities.

• Monitor application performance and implement improvements when needed.

• Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.

• Experience with React, Angular, or another modern JavaScript framework.

• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.

• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Understanding of application security and secure coding practices.
