Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret data to help the organization make informed, data-driven decisions. The successful candidate will transform complex data into meaningful insights, reports, and recommendations for business teams and management.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, organize, clean, and validate data from multiple sources.
Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, relationships, and business opportunities.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management and stakeholders.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
Perform statistical and quantitative analysis as required.
Identify data-quality issues and implement processes to improve data accuracy.
Work with departments to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
Translate business questions into measurable data-analysis tasks.
Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Maintain documentation of data sources, methodologies, reports, and analytical processes.
Support forecasting, budgeting, planning, and performance-analysis activities.
Collaborate with IT, finance, operations, marketing, and other teams on data-related projects.
Ensure data is handled securely and in accordance with company policies.
Required Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data-analysis techniques.
Working knowledge of SQL.
Experience with data-visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Knowledge of Python, R, or other analytical programming languages is an advantage.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to explain complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or a related position is preferred.
Relevant certifications or equivalent professional experience may be considered.
Work Environment
The position may be available as remote, hybrid, or on-site, depending on organizational requirements. The Data Analyst will work with various teams and stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely analytical support.
