Company: SAGA Alliance is a German holding/alliance that invests in and develops businesses in the pop culture industry, particularly board and card games.

Project: a B2B web e-commerce application, a long-term project which focuses on clean architecture, code quality, and system stability.

Team: 9 people (CTO, 2 QA, 6 developers, BA joining soon).

Tech stack: PHP 8.0 (Laravel), PostgreSQL, Angular + Typescript.

Tools: Atlassian products Jira, BitBucket, Confluence

Approximate split: 85% backend (Laravel) and 15% frontend.

• 7 years of commercial PHP software development experience

• 4+ years of commercial experience with Laravel on recent projects

• Experience with PostgreSQL

• Experience with Design Patterns

• Experience with CQRS and DDD principles

• Understanding of event-driven architecture

• Understanding of full-stack web development

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code

• High level of independence and responsibility

• Higher education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field

• Development and support of a B2B web application
• Backend development with PHP and Laravel
• Implementation of business logic and domain models
• Development and support of REST APIs
• Working with PostgreSQL databases
• Taking part in architecture decisions and code reviews
• Working together with the frontend part of the application

• Experience with frontend technologies: Angular and/or TypeScript
• Experience with queues and asynchronous processing
• Experience with integration of third-party services and APIs
• Understanding of UX principles for B2B products
